• Age - At least 16 years at the time of enrollment or by the commencement of the program.

• Candidates must have cleared the IELTS Academic within the last two years with a minimum average score of 6.0 and no individual test score below 5.5.

• The enrollment process begins by filling up the application form and registering for the Online Entrance Test designed to carry out a psychometric, cognitive, and aptitude assessment. No separate preparation is required for the exam. Candidates will receive instructions over email within 48 hours of enrolling for the entrance examination.

• Once candidates successfully qualify the entrance exam, they will be interviewed either via Video call or at one of our centers in Mumbai, Hyderabad, or Delhi.
• After the interview recommended candidates will be required to complete the enrollment application and provide necessary documents for initial consideration. Once all the requirements are satisfactorily met, the candidate will be provided with the training Agreement for acceptance and allocated a date, to begin with, ground classes.

• Candidates are required to appear for and clear DGCA theoretical CPL exams before proceeding with flight training.
• To ensure that candidates have a varied spectrum of domestic and international airline employment opportunities, as well as to lay the foundation for a swift US visa approval process, the candidates are required to appear and clear DGCA (ICAO India) theoretical CPL exams before proceeding for flight training. 
• Classes will be conducted by Hercules Aviation Training School (HATS). The ground classes comprise of approximately 350 hours of sessions that include theoretical training and mock tests. The same classes will suffice for appearing for DGCA ATPL exams. However, additional assistance will be provided to enrolled candidates, after completion of flying training in Canada. 

• Upon clearing DGCA examinations, the candidate will apply for a US F-1 Student Visa. After arrival in the USA at our partner Flight Training Provider (FTP) center, a student will undergo a short FAA pilot medical examination before commencing the flight training.
• The total duration of flight training is approximately 8-10 months if the student is available throughout the training period. Maintaining good attendance throughout the training period is necessary for the timely completion of the course. Generally, the students are not allowed more than 15 days of leave during the flight training phase.
• Students will progress from zero experience level to Commercial Pilot licenses with single-engine (SE-IR) and Multi-Engine (ME-IR) Instrument Rating endorsements issued by FAA. All licenses will have Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings. All stages of flight training are conducted in the USA maintaining the same high standards exclusive to HATS by an accredited flight academy. At present the training is conducted by Pelican Flight Academy.
• After completion of this training phase, the student will become a fully certified Commercial Pilot holding a FAA (ICAO) license, rated to operate single-engine and multi-engine aircraft, both in visual (VMC) and instrument meteorological (IMC) conditions.
• It takes approximately 200 flight hours to complete this stage. 
• After the completion of the flight training phase, all students will be offered an opportunity to apply for an internship as flight instructors, which, in turn, will allow them to build additional flight time.
• Students are required to convert the FAA CPL to DGCA CPL. Candidates can do so at any given point after acquiring the FAA CPL. 

• Students who completed Stage 3 with the required standard of airmanship, safety, and English proficiency, will then proceed to obtain his/her Transport Canada Class IV Certified Flight Instructor rating. The Class IV Instructor Rating certifies the holder of a Commercial Pilot Licence or ATPL to conduct flight training under the supervision of a Class I or II Flight Instructor working within a Flight Training Unit. 
• This rating is necessary to facilitate the internship phase of our program, which would allow the student to work as a flight instructor and build valuable flight time, as well as get paid for this work. 
• It takes approximately 25 flight hours to complete this stage.
• After the completion of the flight training phase, all students will be offered an opportunity to apply for an internship as flight instructors, which, in turn, will allow them to build additional flight time.

• Student, and at this point - a fully qualified FAA commercial pilot and a flight instructor, will be offered an opportunity to work as a flight instructor in our academy under the CPT (Curricular Practical Training) program using the unique F-1 visa employment permit benefits. 
• During this period, students may obtain up to 500 hours of additional flight time. Approximately 25% of this flight time will be conducted on multi-engine aircraft. All of the flight time will be logged as PIC (Pilot-In-Command) and in a multi-crew environment. 
• The Expected instructor flight time is 80 hours per month, with an expected earnings of $800 – $1200 per month. 

• A student's F-1 visa also offers a unique opportunity to work on the OPT (Optional Practical Training) program for an additional 12-24 months. Such a program allows pilots to build additional piston or even turbine time in either a flight school or a passenger/cargo charter environment. 
• This option is available for students who completed their CPT, logged over 600 hours of flight time (200 during training and 400 during CPT internship), and have completed CPT with no incidents, no accidents, and with recommendations from the flight school's chief CFI.

• After the Student completes the CPT and OPT internships, thus logging over 1500 hours of total flight time, he/she will become eligible to apply for a full, unrestricted Airline Pilot License issued under the FAA and ICAO regulations.
• This will be a full ICAO ATPL, giving a de facto authority to the student to become a commanding pilot on a large passenger category aircraft. This license is a full, unrestricted ICAO ATPL and can be converted to any other ICAO ATPL.
• An unrestricted ATPL license is a standard requirement for employment as a First Officer with most leading airlines in the world. It is also the highest aeronautical certification that any pilot can ever achieve. 
• It takes 2 weeks to complete this phase with our partner, ATP flight school 
• Immediately after receiving the FAA ATPL the student can plan a three-week trip to India and convert the FAA ATPL to DGCA ATPL as elaborated in Stage 9.

• This optional internship course is offered to our graduates who have completed the CPT and OPT program as flight instructors and/or commercial pilots with good evaluations, showed fair professionalism and acceptable academic achievement, but who were unable to meet the Airline Pilot Internship standards at the time of graduation.
•  In the unlikely event that a student is unable to secure an Airline Pilot position, our partner in the Caribbean, Global Air BVI Inc, will offer him/her employment as an international ferry pilot. 
• This position requires pilot to work on a charter pilot basis, performing 1-2 aircraft repositioning flights per month from various destinations around the world to North America and Europe using the D-type crew visa. 
• The company will provide all the necessary training and visa support. 
• The expected pilot salary is $2000 – $2500 per aircraft transfer. After completion of this guaranteed internship phase, the pilot can achieve over 2500 hours of flight time, including valuable turbine (turbo-prop) experience.

• After completing Stage 3, students have the option of converting their FAA Commercial Pilot license to an Indian DGCA Commercial Pilot License. The conversion process becomes much easier for students who have already attended Ground Classes with Hercules Aviation Training School (HATS). 
• The student is required to clear DGCA ATPL theoretical exams to convert the FAA ATPL to DGCA ATPL. 
• This phase is not required but recommended to ensure that students can apply for airline pilot positions in the domestic employment market. 
• Despite the Indian market being competitive, our graduates will have a huge advantage over the competition, not only because they would have both ICAO FAA pilot licenses and ICAO Indian pilot licenses, but also because they would be fully airline employment ready, with high total flight time, high jet flight time, and valuable airline environment flying experience, as well as excellent recommendation letters from several companies (Aerocadet, Global Air, HATS and the internship companies). 

• We aim to provide a program structure that enables the student with such a qualification and experience that the airline placement becomes more or less a byproduct of the training. All the major airlines in the world are facing pilot shortage and are on the lookout for pilots with ATPL.
• We are confident, that given the growing pilot deficit in the World, and the unique and robust nature of our ATPL program, Students will be able to obtain airline employment within 2-4 months after completion of their internships.

There is no limit to the assistance program: we will continue our support until the graduates get permanent airline employment. Of course, it is conditional on the graduate's passing the airline employment interview.
•  Permanent employment in the United States may be achieved by qualified candidates through EB-1 visa application. 

• Accommodation in India - HATS will assist in providing accommodation in India to enrolled students for the period of completing Ground Classes. The cost of accommodation generally varies between INR 10000 to INR 15000 per month depending upon single occupancy or sharing rooms. The student also has a choice of attending the classes online and have access to all the recorded classes for the training duration.
• Accommodation in US -  12 months of standard shared accommodation is included in this program. After the initial 12-month lapse, the students are normally allowed to enter an internship with the flight academy using the CPT and OPT internship authorization and can earn sufficient income to cover additional accommodation needs.

• The total cost of training is approximately USD 91129 and can vary with fluctuations in USD-INR exchange rates and extreme changes in fuel cost.
