Terms & Conditions
1. COMPANY INFORMATION. Hercules Aviation Training School Pvt Ltd (hereinafter mentioned as “COMPANY” or “HATS”) is a registered business in India and acts as aviation training, employment and career development consulting agency. The company provides arrangement of aviation training programs, program management and career development support package to its client, the student, through its own services (services offered on the basis of legally contracted to the Company and its subsidiaries and partners) and/or either affiliated and/or outsourced third-party providers as well as prospective internship and employment companies. HATS is currently not a fully approved flying training organisation and is pursuing its FTO approval from DGCA with three fully owned aircraft(s), VT-EUF, VT-HFA and VT-HFB.
2. PERSONAL INFORMATION. By providing your contact details on our website or adlinks you agree to be contacted by us or our representatives including but not limited to third parties via phone or email. To provide the candidates/users the necessary assistance, effectively communicate with the users, and to maintain the application, the company may provide user information to third-party service providers to work on behalf of the company.
3. RIGHT OF ADMISSION. The right of admission is reserved with Hercules Aviation Training School. A completed Application Form does not oblige the school to accept the applicant. However, once you have formally registered and the relevant course fees have been paid, a contract is deemed to exist between the school and the applicant, provided that the school regulations are observed.
3. DISCIPLINE. The student is required to meet the academic performance and attendance requirements established by the school and is required to abide by the school’s policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, confidentiality, accountability, safety, and rules of conduct. A student is allowed a maximum leave of 15 days in any consecutive 365 days. The school reserves the right to expel students whose behavior is unacceptable, disruptive, or prevents the progression of the course.
4. COMMUNICATION. Any notice/information provided on the registered email address would be deemed to have been received by the student. The student must proactively go through all the communication received on the registered email address on a daily basis.
5. TRAINING PERIOD. The training period will commence from the date of commencement of the course and will end at the completion of the course or termination of training contract or termination of the student on disciplinary grounds.
5. REFUND.
- GENERAL REFUND POLICY. Fees once paid is non-refundable and the obligation of the company will only be to provide the relevant service for which the fees is paid. Any refund in an exceptional case will be at the sole discretion of the management of the Company and in such cases 10% of the total course fees will be deducted over an above the charges for which the services have been availed and the expenses made by company on the student. Registration fees paid towards Ground Training or Flight Training is non-refundable.
- GROUND TRAINING. Cancellations on paid fees towards Ground Training, that is, the theoretical classroom training towards the examinations conducted by civil aviation authorities can only be claimed within the period of one week or within the period of the first 5 classroom training sessions from the commencement date, whichever is sooner. In the cases of both new and existing students, no refunds will be issued post this time till completion of the syllabus. This period is provided to the students to ascertain the quality of the training provided to them. Notifications of all cancellations must be made directly to Hercules Aviation Training School via email. Refund is applicable only on paying complete fees and not applicable if any other discount or promotional offers have been availed. 95% classroom attendance is mandatory to claim any refund of the ground training fees. money back. No refund will be made towards the purchase of books, study material or any other goods. The student will also be eligible for refund if he/she attends classes for three consecutive batches with 95% attendance and yet fails to clear the DGCA examinations in three consecutive attempts in the duration of the classes.
- FLIGHT TRAINING. Due to the limited availability of training slots and lengthy process of qualifying a student for enrollment and/or visa paperwork(applicable for students training in foreign locations), any slots vacated due to cancellation will not be filled by an alternate student on a short notice. Because of that, students who cancel program enrollment less than 7 days prior to the program’s scheduled start date will not be eligible for any refund whatsoever. The student must go through the detailed terms and conditions shared in the student agreement before making any payment towards flight training.
- OTHER SERVICES. Fees, charges and/or taxes paid towards any other goods or services are non-refundable.
6. 12 MONTHS GUARANTEE. This is applicable only for the students that are undergoing their flying training in India and have not taken more than 15 days of leave during the training period. The company will be obliged to complete 200 hours of flying training towards Commercial Pilot License flying training syllabus with prejudice to student’s performance and attendance as per the training and procedure manual and the agreement within 12 months from the time (a) the student successfully passes all the written pilot examinations conducted by DGCA or (b) award of Flight Radio Telephony Operators License (Restricted), also known as FRTOL(R) or (c) Student Pilot License issued by the company or (d) signing of the agreement whichever is later. This license, FRTOL(R) is issued by DGCA once the student completes the requisite written exam for which the training will be provided by the company. The Student Pilot License will be issued after the student has cleared all the written Pilot license examinations conducted by DGCA.
